Daler-Rowney’s Aquafine watercolour brushes are made using a formulation of thick and thin filaments, tapered to a point, as well as different lengths. This process imitates that of natural sable hair but because they are synthetic they offer longer life and affordability.
The fan-shaped head is used for subtle blending of colour on the surface and in dry brushwork, for distant trees and foreground foliage.
