Is it June already, 6 months into 2021? The cold, somber Christmas during lockdown doesn't feel that long ago.
Whilst sat here typing I am intermittently peering out of the window to a wet, although verdant view. Feeling, a little apprehensively, like we can begin to look forward and make plans again.
In our home, the school Summer holidays are our end of year highlight. With only a few weeks left till the end of term, we are even daring to think about what we may be able to do! One of the count down markers, for me, during the next few weeks has always been the Graduate Art shows. The final display of work and thoughts is a significant and exciting end to a students time of studies.
I know this year will be disappointing to some as many of the shows are 'virtual' however, I for one am still excited by the opportunity to see inspiring work from a collective of resilient creative people. How have they responded to this difficult time?
So, pop your brushes down, grab a coffee and please make some time over the next few weeks to peruse 'graduate art shows 2021'.

As we are in the business of Artists' brushes, I started to wonder what happens to all the brushes we sell.

Hello,
I've been thinking a little about brushes recently...
Now that might seem like a slightly strange thing to say as a practising artist of many years standing, some years jumping and a few years of muddling, but in a way it's not...
