The Aquafine AF62 is a flat shader — a short, square-edged brush with a compact head that gives you precise control over where paint goes. The short bristle length means less flex and more resistance than a longer flat, making it well suited to short, deliberate strokes, sharp edges, and controlled blending in small areas. It's a useful brush for detailed work where a larger flat would be too unwieldy.
The square tip allows you to work flat for even coverage, on its edge for clean lines, or use the corners for picking out fine detail — similar to the AF55 Short Flat but with a smaller, more controlled head. Particularly useful for painting architectural details, geometric shapes, and any subject requiring crisp, defined edges.
Made from Daler-Rowney's synthetic filament blend, designed to mimic the smooth colour flow of natural sable. Available in sizes 2, 6, and 10.
