The Bristlewhite B84 is a hog bristle fan brush for oil and acrylic painting — a stiffer, more textured option than a synthetic fan, making it particularly well suited to techniques where you want the bristle to leave its mark in the paint. The spread of the fan shape creates broken, feathered strokes ideal for blending soft edges, painting grasses, foliage, fur, and hair, or creating stippled texture effects.
The extended bristle length of the B84 gives the brush a natural flex and spring, allowing it to hold a good volume of paint and release it gradually across the stroke. The long handle keeps you at easel distance for a more considered approach to mark-making.
