The System 3 SY57 is an angle shader — a flat brush with a slanted tip that gives you a versatile combination of a flat edge and a fine point in a single brush. The angled profile makes it particularly useful for painting curved strokes, filling in tight corners, and creating clean, controlled edges where a square flat would be too blunt. It's a practical brush for detail work that still requires some coverage.
The angled tip also makes it well-suited to applying colour precisely along curved lines, blending in small areas, and any technique where you need to work into a shape rather than across it. Made from soft synthetic filaments with good snap and spring, the SY57 handles acrylic confidently across a range of consistencies. The short handle and ergonomic yellow and black grip keep the brush well-balanced for close-up work.
