Pro Arte Series A – Fan – Oil Painting Brush

The Series A Fan is made from Jyukeis hog bristle — widely regarded as the finest Chinese bristle available. The firm, springy bristle of the Series A range is put to excellent use in the fan shape, which is a specialist tool for blending, softening edges, and creating textural effects such as foliage, grass, fur, and hair in oil painting. The stiffness of hog bristle gives the Series A Fan more control and resistance than a softer synthetic fan, making it particularly effective for dry brushing and feathering techniques.

Finished with seamless nickel-plated brass ferrules and long, polished green handles.
