The Series B Long Handled Short Flat is made from high-grade Chinese Chungking bristle, offering good spring and durability at an accessible price point. The short flat shape provides more resistance and control than a long flat, making it well suited to precise, confident strokes, detail work, and impasto techniques in oil and acrylic painting. The shorter bristle length gives a firmer feel, ideal for pushing paint around with authority.
The long handle provides the distance from the canvas that oil painters prefer, allowing for a freer, more gestural approach. Finished with seamless nickelled ferrules and long cream-polished handles.
