The Sceptre Gold II One Stroke - Series 606 - is a flat brush designed for laying down colour in a single, confident pass. Its wide, flat profile is ideal for covering backgrounds, painting skies, and applying even washes — while the sable and synthetic blend gives it enough softness to avoid streaking and enough spring to stay responsive.
The tapered hairs also allow for a degree of edge control that a purely synthetic flat brush often lacks, making it more versatile than its shape might suggest. Works well with watercolour, fluid oil colour, acrylic, water-mixable oil, and alkyd fast-drying oil.
Available in sizes 1/8" through 3/4".
