Daler-Rowney’s Aquafine watercolour brushes are made using a formulation of thick and thin filaments, tapered to a point, as well as different lengths. This process imitates that of natural sable hair but because they are synthetic they offer longer life and affordability.
The Series AF55 is a flat brush offering good colour control. Apply it flat on the paper for thick lines. Use the corners for touching in details, or edge-on for thin lines.
