The Dalon D99 is a rigger brush — a long, fine-tipped brush built for the kind of work that demands a steady hand and a consistent line. Its elongated head holds a generous reservoir of colour, releasing it slowly and evenly as you draw the brush across the surface. Ideal for rigging lines on ships (hence the name), fine lettering, calligraphy, and the delicate branches and grasses that finish a landscape painting.
Made from Daler-Rowney's premium synthetic filaments, the D99 is specifically tapered for excellent shape retention, coming to a reliable fine point time after time. It works well across watercolour, oils, and acrylics, and is a considered choice for vegan artists being entirely man-made with no animal hair.
