The System 3 SY85 is a round brush — the most versatile shape in the range. The pointed tip allows you to move between fine detail and broader coverage without changing brushes: use the tip for precise marks and touching in small areas, or apply more pressure to open up the belly of the brush for wider strokes and washes. Larger sizes are particularly useful for laying colour across substantial areas quickly.
Made from soft synthetic filaments with good snap and spring, the SY85 handles acrylic well across a wide range of consistencies. The short handle and ergonomic yellow and black grip keep the brush well-balanced for both desk and easel work.
