The Pro Arte Series 2A is a designer's Kolinsky sable watercolour brush with an extra 'steeple-shaped' length — a longer, more tapered head than a standard round that comes to an exceptionally fine point. It's this extended tip that makes the 2A a firm favourite for watercolour illustration and detailed work, where the ability to hold a precise point over a long stroke is essential.
The longer head also holds a good reservoir of colour, so you can work continuously without constantly reloading — useful for fine linework, lettering, and any subject requiring sustained precision. Made from the finest selected Kolinsky sable, with a cupro-nickel ferrule and a 7-inch beech handle finished in black.
